Edson has been a great place to begin my professional career and start my family. The challenge of rural healthcare is unique and ever-changing. Our ability to see and treat such a variety of conditions among such a diverse population makes for a very exciting and rewarding profession. The multi-disciplinary team at our healthcare center works very cohesively together and have offered a very supportive atmosphere and environment. Living and working in Edson, which is a smaller center, you are easily able to become an active and valued member of the community. Edson offers an abundant access to numerous outdoor activities and is an easy day trip away from both the beautiful Rocky Mountains and the city of Edmonton.
