With career support at every turn, Teresa grew her nursing career step by step — all while building a life she loves in a community that supports her.
Teresa’s story is one of growth, grit, and gratitude. Starting as a Nursing Aide in 1991, she worked her way through multiple roles at the Edson Hospital, from Unit Clerk to Admitting Clerk, then completed the Rural LPN program and eventually bridged into an RN designation in 2006. With experience across Acute Care, Labour & Delivery, ER, and Perioperative Nursing, Teresa took on the role of Assistant Head Nurse in 2018. Though she initially moved to Edson for her husband’s job, the small-town charm, unbeatable location between city life and mountain escape, and genuine sense of community made it their forever home.
